Laughter Yoga does not use humor to stimulate laughter, instead guided techniques help you to laugh for no reason. More oxygen circulates through the body and brain resulting in your feeling more healthy, energized and relaxed. You get the benefits from your very first session. Anyone can do it.

Founded by Dr. Madan Kataria in India in 1995, Laughter Yoga is a combination of deep breathing exercises from yoga and laughter exercises. Today Laughter Yoga is an international phenomenon practiced in 72 countries around the world. It has been scientifically proven to reduce blood pressure and stress hormones. Laughter is positive energy that is contagious and connecting. As Victor Borge states “Laughter is the closest distance between two people.”

A typical Laughter Yoga session starts with gentle stretching and warm ups. Laughter Yoga exercises follow. The session often ends with a grounding exercise or meditation. Laughter Yoga practiced on a regular basis can lead to better ability to handle stressful situations, improved mood, positive emotions & attitude, better sleep, a healthier immune system and improved sense of humor.
